Miglianico is a municipality located in the province of Chieti at 125 meters (410 feet) of altitude. Miglianico has 4844 inhabitants and a surface area of 22.73 square kilometers (8.78 square miles).
The municipality of Miglianico also includes the following suburbs: Cagialone, Cerreto, Collemarino, Elcine, Foreste, Montupoli, Piane San Pantaleone, Valle Sant'Angelo.
Miglianico was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861) and belonged to the former Abruzzo Citra province.
