The municipality of Torricella Peligna also includes the following suburbs: Bufalara, Colle del Ponte, Colle Zingaro, Fallascoso, Purgatoio, Riga Tre Confini, Santa Giusta, Madonna del Roseto..
Torricella Peligna was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861) and belonged to the former Abruzzo Citra province.

I would like to know for sure if my Grandmother and Grandfather were both born in in Torricella. My Grandmother (Guvena D’Ulisse) was born in the year 1885 and came to the USA in the year of 1904. Other than that I know nothing else about her.
My Grandfather was born in 1865 – 1864 not sure of the year and his name was Dominic DiLuzio. Don’t know when he came to the USA but we know he sent for my Grandmother to come to the USA and he paid her way.
I’m not 100% sure that they both came from this Village. Through “23 And Me” and looking at the background of other relatives, I settled on this village as where they came from.

I am creating a family tree and trying to verify some information.
I am trying to track down information about Madalenna DiLuzio who was married to Francesco Teti and Anna DiLuzio who was married to Orazio Teti. (Not sure if this is accurate but it’s coming up on my ancestry family tree)
There is also an Emedio DiLuzio born in 1851 and married to Catarina Montanari. I am not sure what town Emidio is from but his wife is from Teramo.
My husband is a Teti and my mother is a DiLuzio. I am trying to make the connection to see if Madalenna and/or Anna (married to Teti) are related to Emidio DiLuzio. He is where my grandfather’s tree starts on the DiLuzio side and I cannot locate any information on his parents.
